Have you ever found yourself wishing to return to the good old days? You know, a healthier, more natural, simpler way of life? I feel the same way! If you are anything like me, you may be wishing for it, but struggling to find it in today’s hectic world. It hasn’t stopped me from trying though. Since you’re here, I’m guessing you are looking for your way back to a healthier and simpler lifestyle, too. Thank you for joining me here at The Road to Simple and Healthy!
Hi, my name is Kellie, and I am a mom, a wife, a homemaker, a blogger, and co-owner of K and T Creations. I love my family, my cats, coffee, cooking, DIY crafts and projects, and needlework. I often joke that I was born in the wrong century. Jane Austin fascinates me, and I think this country should embrace high tea and all it entails! The problem is I live in the 21st century, with social media, fast food, and on demand TV taking the place of face-to-face interactions, cooking from scratch, and smelling the roses.
Don’t get me wrong, there are certain conveniences to life that I love. I have fed my kids meals from their favorite fast food joints like every other mom out there. It’s a hectic world and we are all trying to survive it – we do what we must. But then my own mom suffered health issues from her candles, and everything changed. The results of my research (I mean, what could be wrong with run of the mill candles?) caused me to take a step back and rethink my choices. I realized that not everything we have surrounded ourselves with, is a healthy and natural choice. I started making soy candles for family and friends as a natural alternative to the everyday brands. That led to the start of my business, K and T Creations. Now I share my experiences, recipes, etc. with all of you.
